Students come to MSU for academics, but fall in love with the people and community. Their student body is really social, friendly, globally aware, and active. We have over 600 clubs and organizations that you can get involved in the minute you set foot on campus. You can cheer on our teams with all sporting facilities located on campus. You can stroll the sidewalks of the quintessential college town of East Lansing and pop into a coffee house, restaurant, shop or pub. And we're sure you’ll make friends and find a party to attend every now and again.

Location
MSU's sprawling campus is in East Lansing, Michigan. The campus is perched on the banks of the Red Cedar River. Downtown, students can choose from dining and nightlife options, and the city is also home to the Great Lakes Folk Festival. Lake Michigan and its beaches are a short trip away, as is the state capital of Lansing. The Michigan State Spartans compete in the NCAA Division I Big Ten Conference, supported by award-winning mascot Sparty. There are more than 600 student clubs and organizations, including more than 55 fraternities and sororities.
