It will be dedicated to the expansion of existing links with schools, business, government, community groups and the Chinese cultural community to promote the teaching of Chinese language and contemporary Chinese culture. Scholarships are available to 4 selected students from UNNC international exchange partners. Winners will be awarded a one-off payment of RMB3000 if students exchange at UNNC for a semester or an academic year.

Ningbo lies south of the Hangzhou Bay, which separates it from the municipalities of Jiaxing and Shanghai; to the east it faces the East China Sea. Located 220 km from Shanghai, it features ancient structures from many Chinese dynasties. A city of more than 7 million people, it has many restaurants and small eateries.
