About

It is one of the oldest university in Indonesia with more than 160 years of experience in education, It plays an important role in higher education in the Asia Pacific and is contributing to the sustainable development of the country and has produced a Nobel Prize winner in Medicine.

Highlights
Studying at UI provides a window on Indonesian life with the opportunity to live in either the megalopolis of Jakarta or the historical Depok. UI’s campus is one of the most magnificent green campuses in the world. Spread over 320 hectares in West Java, up to 75 per cent of its grounds are committed to forestation – including eight lakes. UI has undertaken significant reform in recent years to foster a global outlook.

Unique characteristics
UI offers vocational and bachelor degrees across 12 Faculties, as well as 13 interdisciplinary postgraduate programs and more than 30 specialist/professional programs in Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, and Faculty of Nursing.
