Established eight years ago, Aalto University is a new, innovative university that merges art, technology and economics. It was created by a merger of the Helsinki School of Economics, Helsinki University of Technology and the University of Art and Design Helsinki, and its campuses are spread around Helsinki, the vibrant harbourside capital of Finland. The School of Business is one of the highest ranking in Europe.
Students are encouraged to develop skills to equip them for future careers. Aalto University provides them the freedom to develop and flourish in an international, multi-disciplinary environment. The School of Business is the only business school in Finland – and one of only a few in the world – to have been labelled as excellent by three of the world’s leading accreditation bodies, AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS.

Aalto University provides 1000 euro scholarships to 2 (two) successful nominated Sydney University students if they are successfully admitted. Nominated students to Aalto will be automatically considered. 

Students are required to obtain health insurance valid during their exchange.

Mandatory orientation will be held at the beginning of the semester.
Support Services 
Student Services provides services and assistance to exchange students, including psychological counselling and a wide range of support services for individual study arrangements.
All exchange students will have student tutors helping them out with practicalities in the beginning of their studies. Tutors will contact you before your arrival and you will meet the tutors at the orientation. Student advisors are available in each school.
