Short-term programs - Summer Break (December – February) 

On this page you will find information and links to short-term programs available during the upcoming summer break (December 2022 to February 2023). For more information about a program, please click the relevant program name under Program Title. The Sydney Abroad Short-Term team are always ready to help you find the ideal global experience for the break.

Steps to Apply

Step 1: Register for a mandatory Short Term ‘What to know before you apply’ webinar. (incl. eligibility and Academic Approval process)
Step 2: Choose your program, click ‘Apply Now’ and complete each of questionnaires within your application.
Step 3: Submit your Academic Approval Request, if required, before the deadlines. Period for submitting a academic approval request is between Monday 5 September 2022 until Sunday 13 November 2022. This is incorporated into your Short Term Program application portal. 
Step 4: Finalise your Short Term Program application.  

Notes: Program application and payment deadlines vary by program. You can submit applications for up to two programs. But only participate on ONE during the Summer University Break. 

You are eligible to complete ONE program per university break for a maximum approved credit limit of 12cp.

2022-2023 Summer Break Global Experiences

Programs are opened on a rolling basis. Continue to check the page to see if new program are available.
If a program hasn't been confirmed by the host university or provider, it will be listed below as To Be Confirmed. 

Please note that for the December 2022 to February 2023 summer break, most of the global experiences will be offered as in-person but may change at any time due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19 across international travel. This is at the discretion of the host university or provider.
