Sydney - Quad - tower view
Sydney Global Mobility will be offering Vice Chancellor's Global Mobility Scholarships for semester exchange and short-term mobility programs in 2019 – valued between $1,000 - $2,000 each.

Scholarships are allocated on the basis of academic merit (WAM) or program. Students nominated for the Semester Exchange Program will be automatically considered and successful scholarship recipients will be notified by email.

Students may only receive one scholarship per semester exchange program or short-term mobility experience and are not eligible for a second scholarship if they extend their one-semester exchange into a two-semester exchange at the same partner institution. Students are not eligible for a Vice Chancellor's Global Mobility Scholarship if they are in receipt of another travelling scholarship or grant (this includes those scholarships and grants listed here and the New Colombo Plan Scholarship or Mobility Program).

Super Partner Scholarships - $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to selected students based on successful placement (Sydney nomination and host institution acceptance) for semester exchange at the University of Hong Kong, University of Copenhagen, National University of Singapore, Utrecht University, University of EdinburghUniversity of California and the University of Toronto. Where the number of students placed at these destinations exceeds the existing funding, academic merit will be taken into account in determining the scholarship recipients.

Academic merit scholarships - $1,000-$1,500 scholarships will be awarded to selected students with a WAM over 70% participating in a semester exchange or short-term global mobility program promoted through the Global Mobility Database.

Short term programs - $1,000-$1,500 scholarships will be awarded to students participating in selected short-term global mobility programs. Scholarships will be promoted in the program brochure under Program Description: > Finances tab > Scholarships.

Scholarship recipients are required to upload their host university acceptance letter and complete the Global Mobility Travel Registry.
