Program description University of Sydney students have the opportunity to spend 5 weeks of their winter holidays undertaking a summer course mixed in with cultural activities at the world renowned and top 50 ranking University of British Columbia.

UBC prides itself on “embracing innovation and challenging the status quo.” Its entrepreneurial perspective encourages students, staff and faculties to defy convention and explore new ways of learning. The summer program offers courses in engineering, Journalism, International relations and many more.

Program dates 15 July - 15 August 2017

IMPORTANT: Program end dates impact on Semester 2 2017 lectures (commencing on Monday 31 July 2017). Students must ensure they adhere to their individual attendance requirements for all units of study at the University of Sydney. No special consideration will be given by the faculty for assessment extensions or deferred exams because of their late commencement. If you are unsure of the requirements of your University of Sydney course please consult your faculty. Special permission may be required in some circumstances.

Credit / Not-for-credit Please contact your faculty office with the below form to submit an application for credit. Participation in any study abroad program does not guarantee credit and will require faculty assessment of individual applications-for-credit.
