Program description Discover the magic of the Scottish landscape while experiencing world-class education a cultural and festival capital of Europe, Edinburgh. University of Sydney Students are invited to select from a diverse range of courses spanning several faculties. This unique experience includes social and cultural excursions to ensure an opportunity to network and grow, both personally and professionally.

Program dates Start date: 3 July 2017
End date is dependent on the course selected.

IMPORTANT: Program end dates may impact on Semester 2 2017 lectures (commencing on Monday 31 July 2017). Students must ensure they adhere to their individual attendance requirements for all units of study at the University of Sydney. No special consideration will be given by the faculty for assessment extensions or deferred exams because of their late commencement. If you are unsure of the requirements of your University of Sydney course please consult your faculty. Special permission may be required in some circumstances.

Application deadline 31 March 2017 (or later if organising own accommodation).

Credit / Not-for-credit You will be emailed credit application instructions for your faculty once you have expressed interest in this program with the form linked at the bottom of this page. Please allow 1-2 weeks for this information to be sent through.
Language Classes are instructed in English.
Fees and scholarships
2017 Program Fee is dependent on the course duration and accomodation package chosen.

Additional costs (not included in program fee): Airfare, travel and health insurance, visa, personal expenses and additional travel.
Scholarship available:  AUD$1,000  (merit-based, application required)

OS-HELP loans may be available to eligible students enrolled in a Commonwealth supported place where the program is approved for credit prior to departure. Application required.

Location overview
Edinburgh is considered one of the world’s most desirable places to live. It’s a World Heritage Site with many historic buildings showcasing Georgian and Victorian architecture, as well as its famous castle. Edinburgh teams with nightlife, students, tourists and each year, thousands of people descend on the city for the annual Edinburgh Arts Festival.
