Program description University of Sydney students have the opportunity to spend 6 weeks of their winter holidays undertaking two classes and social activities at the University of California, Irvine, USA.

Our diverse student body creates an active college culture while the variety of student support services and social events allow you to experience an intimacy with other students, faculty, and staff that is more commonly associated with a small college environment.

Program dates 24 June* - 4 August 2017**

IMPORTANT: Program dates conflict with the Semester 1 2017 examination period (19 - 30 June 2016).
Before booking this program, students must ensure that they do not have any exams for semester 1 or will have completed their assessments/exams by 24 June 2017.
Program end dates impact on Semester 2 2017 lectures (commencing on Monday 31 July 2017). Students must ensure they adhere to their individual attendance requirements for all units of study at the University of Sydney. No special consideration will be given by the faculty for assessment extensions or deferred exams because of their late commencement. If you are unsure of the requirements of your University of Sydney course please consult your faculty. Special permission may be required in some circumstances.

Credit / Not-for-credit You will be emailed credit application instructions for your faculty once you have expressed interest in this program with the form linked at the bottom of this page. Please allow 1-2 weeks for this information to be sent through.
Language Classes are instructed in English.

OS-HELP loans may be available to eligible students enrolled in a Commonwealth supported place where the program is approved for credit prior to departure. Application required.
