About
Oslo National Academy of the Arts (KhiO) is Norway's largest college of higher education in the arts, dedicated to producing students who will become leading practitioners and make a lasting contribution to their field.

Highlights
KhiO’s facilities are all located together in customised buildings on the Seilduken campus, a newly renovated former sailcloth factory. This light-filled, architecturally fascinating space offers a new library, a gallery and exhibition rooms as well as well-equipped workshops and classrooms. As one of Oslo’s significant cultural institutions, KhiO offers a varied program of cultural activities that are open to the public.

Unique characteristics
There are 24 study program across six departments: Design, Art and Craft, The Academy of Fine Art, The Academy of Dance, The Academy of Opera, and The Academy of Theatre. Most of the teachers are leading practitioners in their own discipline.
