About
The École Supérieure Art and Design Saint Étienne (ESADSE) specialises in training students of art, design and communications-multimedia. It is closely linked to industrial growth and economic development of Saint-Étienne, and still contributes to the design and study of the city.

Highlights
ESADSE is known for training artists, designers, graphic designers, writers, creators and other professionals to develop their imagination and creativity in a city that is famous for its design. It has partnerships with a range of international and local institutions, and promotes the exchange of students, artists, designers, exhibitions and workshops.

Location
Located in eastern central France, Saint Étienne is near the gorges of the Loire, the mountains of the Massif Central and the sprawling city of Lyon. Here you can visit a variety of museums and art galleries and practise a wide variety of sports, from mountain biking to canoeing. Saint-Étienne hosts two major events: the International Design Biennale and a major book festival.
