HAN has campuses in the cities of Arnhem and Nijmegen, close to the German border. It boasts modern buildings, and world class multimedia centres and laboratories. It offers a lively international student environment.
 
Unique characteristics
The University offers almost every type of professional course in education, social studies, commerce, communication, business administration, law, economics, engineering, built environment, applied sciences, IT and communication, health, nursing, and sports and exercise. Its courses in the Life Sciences are taught by experienced lecturers and will improve your employability in the healthcare and commercial sectors.
 
Location
The Netherlands is one of Europe’s smallest countries but it has one of the most important economies. It’s known for its high quality education and as a safe country where most people speak English. Nijmegen, the oldest city in the Netherlands features an interesting mix of the old and new.  It is a small centre with a pleasant waterfront on the River Waal, cafes and boat tours but boasts of a large student population, a museum showcasing modern art and Roman antiquities, and a concert hall and several theatres. The cultural centre LUX is the largest art house cinema in the Netherlands. You can easily visit nearby Germany from here.
