Semester Exchange

Semester Banner v2

Exchange programs are open to current students, offering the chance to study overseas for a semester or academic year.

Starting your planning early ensures you have sufficient time to explore your options, organise your enrolment, save money, and seek academic advice before starting the application process.

Steps to apply for the Semester Exchange Program:

*If you submit an application questionnaire and later realise you've made a mistake or need to make changes, do not withdraw your application. Instead, contact sydney.abroad@sydney.edu.au to have the relevant questionnaire(s) reinstated. You can make changes to your application up until the final submission deadline. No changes will be possible after the final submission deadline.

Shortly after the application deadline, Sydney Abroad will host a mandatory webinar to guide you through the next steps required to participate in the exchange program. There is also an additional application task to be completed after the deadline - submission of the statement of purpose video. Failure to attend/watch the webinar recording and/or submit the statement of purpose video will result in the withdrawal of your application.
