Sydney Abroad will be offering Vice Chancellor's Global Mobility Scholarships for exchanges in 2018 – valued between $1,000 - $2,000 each.

The awards are allocated on the basis of academic merit (WAM), and exchange destination. Students nominated for the Semester Exchange Program will be automatically considered and successful scholarship recipients will be notified by email.

Students may only receive one scholarship per exchange experience and are not eligible for a second scholarship if they extend their one-semester exchange into a two-semester exchange at the same partner institution. Students are not eligible for a Vice Chancellor's Global Mobility Scholarship if they are in receipt of another travelling scholarship or grant (this includes those scholarships and grants listed here and the New Colombo Plan Scholarship or Mobility program).

Super Partner Scholarships - $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to selected students based on successful placement (Sydney nomination and host institution acceptance) for semester exchange at the University of Copenhagen, National University of Singapore, Utrecht University or the University of Edinburgh. Where the number of students placed at these destinations exceeds the existing funding, academic merit will be taken into account in determining the scholarship recipients.

Academic merit scholarships - $1,500 scholarships will be awarded to selected students with a WAM over 75.

Short term programs - $1,000-$1,500 scholarships will be awarded to students participating on selected short term programs.
